1) These Terms of Business
a) These are the terms and conditions on which we will supply products to you.
b) Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to us. These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide products to you, what to do if there is a problem and other important information.
2) Information about us and how to contact us
a) Rise is part of Providence Row a charitable company registered in England and Wales. Our company registration number is 07452798 and our registered charity number is 1140192. Our registered office is at The Dellow Centre, 82 Wentworth Street, London E1 7SA.

3) Our Products
a) The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. All our products are made by hand and therefore there will be minor variations from those shown on our website.
b) Our products are made in an environment where nuts and other allergens may be used and therefore our products may contain traces of nuts and other such allergens.
c) It is your responsibility to check the ingredients for allergens before purchasing; we cannot offer a refund after the order has been confirmed if you later find that you or the intended recipient(s) cannot consume the products due to an allergy. Please consult the list of ingredients for each of our products for further information.
d) Our products should be eaten before the ‘best before’ date and stored in accordance with the storage instructions, both of which are provided in the relevant product packaging.
4) Orders
a) Your order is only accepted by us once you receive our email order confirmation, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us. We will assign an order number to your order and tell you what it is in your email confirmation. It will help us if you can tell us the order number whenever you contact us about your order.
b) If for any reason we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this and will not charge you for the product. This might be because of different reasons including, but not limited to, the product is out of stock, because of unexpected limits on our resources which we could not reasonably plan for or because we have identified an error in the price or description of the product.
5) Delivery
a) Any delivery times/dates provided on our website are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Time of delivery is not of the essence.
b) We send all of orders by ‘First Class Royal Mail’ unless ‘Royal Mail Signed For First Class’ or ‘Courier’ are selected. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver products to addresses outside the UK.
c) The costs of delivery is not included in the product price and will calculated based on the number of products ordered and the delivery method selected. The cost of delivery will be calculated and notified to you before you place your order.
d) We are only able to dispatch orders on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays, irrespective of the method of delivery selected. Please note that dispatch dates are the dates on which we pass your products to the relevant delivery service provider selected (i.e. Royal Mail or courier) – the dispatch date is not the delivery date.
e) All orders placed will be dispatched on the next working day. For example, orders placed on a Monday will be dispatched on Tuesday and orders placed on a Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday.
f) No orders will be dispatched on Saturdays, Sundays or English bank holidays.
g) Products are delivered in two sizes of box:
i) 18 x 18 x 3.8cm; or
ii) 18 x 32 x 3.8cm.
which should enable them to be fit through an average sized letterbox. It is your responsibility to check the size of your letterbox before ordering and we shall not be liable for any failed delivery as a result of the product not fitting through your letterbox.
h) If no one is available at your address to take delivery and the products cannot be posted through your letterbox, a note should be left by the delivery service provider informing you of how to rearrange delivery or collect the products from a local depot designated by the delivery service provider. However, it shall be your responsibility to rearrange with the delivery service provider either for re-delivery of the products or to collect them from a local depot and we shall not be liable for any delivery or collection arrangements made nor if the products perish as a result of no one being available to collect or take delivery of the product.
i) Please check the postcode and address you provide for delivery. We shall not be liable for late or non-delivery due to incorrect delivery instructions being provided by you.
j) Products to be delivered to a business address shall be considered delivered to you when left at reception or the mail room for that business address.
6) Price and Payment
a) The price of the product (which includes VAT) will be the price indicated on your order form, which will also show the cost of the delivery you have selected.
b) Payment shall be made at the time of placing your order.
7) Title and Risk
a) The products will be your responsibility from the time we deliver the product to the address stated in the order confirmation email.
b) You will own the products once we have received payment in full.
8) If there is a problem with the product
a) If you have any questions or complaints about the product, please contact us. You can telephone us on 020 3137 9135 or by writing to us at bakery@providencerow.org.uk.
b) Nothing in these terms will affect your statutory rights.
c) If a product delivered to you is not as stated in the order confirmation email or is damaged when you receive it we will refund the price you paid for the damaged or non-conforming product.
d) Please do not return faulty products to us unless you have first contacted us and we have asked you to return the product to us. Where we have requested that you return a product we will pay the costs of postage up to a maximum amount equal to the cost of return by First Class Royal Mail.
e) We shall have no liability to you for any indirect loss suffered or for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
f) We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors; for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products.
9) How we may use your personal information
We will use the personal information you provide to us:
i) to supply the products to you; and
ii) to process your payment for the products,
in each case, in accordance with the terms of our Privacy Policy
10) Other important terms
a) This contract is between you and Providence Row. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.
b) Each of the paragraphs of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
These terms are governed by English law and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any legal proceedings relating to the products and/or the contract between you and Providence Row
